In the role of Sales Representative and as part of our sales team, your primary responsibility is to grow sales by winning new business and helping that business grow fast. TOSSWARE is intent on building volume in certain channels and in building a brand in others. TOSSWARE intends to build out a distributor network and effectively push volume through that network so identifying, qualifying and negotiating with the best possible distribution partners will be critical to job success.

Essential Responsibilities:
Drive sales through key distributors and retailers by building relationships, understanding customer needs and building programs that fulfill those customer needs.
Be able to work independently and manage your accounts/territory.
Exceed targeted sales quota consistently.
Attend and represent company at trade/industry shows or other necessary events that promote and increase exposure for sales opportunities.
Support and provide product knowledge to distributors.
Assist with placing special orders.
Collaborate with key partners to identify new sales opportunities and strategies.
Any other duties as assigned.
To succeed as a Sales Representative for Tossware, you need to be very comfortable presenting and selling to new prospects, persistent and focused in moving prospects along their decision path towards signing up and detail oriented in following through with action items and opportunities.

Must have reliable transportation to carry out the duties of this role.
Must have a valid Drivers License and auto insurance.
Education and/or
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
2 years' of prior work experience, preferably in Sales role.
Experience developing leads into opportunities by nurturing relationships, understanding client problems, involving the correct decision makers.
Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
Other skills and abilities:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Must be flexible and able to work irregular hours to accommodate marketing or business development meetings, etc.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills.
Ability to adapt to new process, products and technologies as required. Learn and understand our products and technology at a level sufficiently high enough to efficiently identify and route requests for assistance to the proper division department or individual.
Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-discipline environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identifies and addresses problems and meets deadlines.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.
Ability to remain professional at all times.
Ability to work effectively with a team in a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time.
Normal conditions for an office environment.
Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
Must be able to travel (60%) of the time.
This is a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
