Procurement Specialist
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and may be converted to a direct hire opportunity based on performance within 3-6 months. We are looking for a candidate that can be flexible and grow with us.

Pay: We offer a competitive hourly rate which varied depending on experience (Please state your desired compensation along with your salary history). Cover letters although not required, are highly preferred.
MUST be bilingual Chinese Mandarin/English
Must be able to work overtime or weekends as operationally required.
Procurement specialist
This position is responsible for all day to day purchasing requirements involving all raw materials and parts from oversea. Expedites and monitor orders, coordinates with production and sales department, provide status updates and usage report. Monitor vendor's machine placement and production output.
1. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
2. Selects products for purchase by analyzing cost and quality of items in conjunction with department heads.
3. Assures the correct account coding is assigned to each purchase.
4. Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance and inventories.
5. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with engineer and/or quality control personnel, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
6. Expedites delivery of goods, when necessary.
7. Performs all other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
Education/
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Bachelor's degree
Computer skills: Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Vlookup and Pivot table.
