Responsibilities:

Direct, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they perform their tasks effectively.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels, perform regular counts, and update records.
Ensure accurate tracking of all goods and materials.
Shipping and Receiving:
Oversee shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Coordinate transportation logistics.
Quality Control:
Maintain high-quality standards for all products.
Inspect goods for defects and address quality issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and best practices.
Conduct regular safety training and maintain a safe work environment.
Productivity Optimization:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Reporting:
Generate and maintain reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipping, and receiving.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all warehouse equipment and machinery are in working order.
Arrange for maintenance and repairs as needed.
Team Development:
Train and onboard new warehouse staff.
Foster a positive team environment, encouraging teamwork and productivity.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (a degree or certification in logistics, management, or related field is a plus).
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and reporting.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required for entry-level candidates.
