We have the following position at our Empire hauling division in San Bernardino:
Yardman The yard attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and yard area.
SALARY RANGE:
$17.
00/hour - $19.
65/hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Division yard cleaning and organization activities.
Barrel and Bin Cleaning Repairs (barrels only and assist welder with bins as needed) Container inventory & organization Janitorial cleaning (vacuuming, restroom cleaning, empty trash containers, etc) Parking lot and entry way cleaning Landscape cleaning (weeding, shrubs, trees and grass areas) SWPPP Maintenance & Litter Control (on-site BMPs) - Daily Maintain E-waste, tire, green-waste and metal drop-off areas Will assist with road call clean ups Perform other duties as assigned The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list; additional tasks may be assigned; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a safety sensitive environment.
PHYSICAL:
Ability to make sound judgment.
Ability to stand continuously during assigned shift and lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, squat and kneel.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
